It is so sad to discover that Dieter is gone now. I am grateful to him for developing a great accounting solution which is not only powerful but simple as well.

A few people on this forum probably know me and my work and here is a brief description how I can contribute to the further development.

For more than 20 years I have been working with SQL-Ledger exclusively mostly on the development side.

I am maintaining my own fork on my github repository based on ledger 2.8. But now I intend to extend the last release by Dieter, move ledger 2.8 enhancements to it and make it available to everyone. Details are available on my website https://ledger123.com/

Some of the enhancements I have done (and available freely) include:

1. Ledgercart which builds an online shop from sql-ledger.
2. Integration with Revolut bank to import transactions directly.
3. Integrations with shopify and woocommerce to get orders into sql-ledger.
4. A user manual I co-authored with Sebastian Weitmann in 2015. This is available freely from my website.
5. Rest API (not complete yet).
6. Integration of perl code written with Mojolicious frame work.
7. Hundreds of bug fixes. (code available on github)

User manual is bit outdated and I plan an update to it soon.

I am here to extend any help through this forum or through my forums for application usage or development tips and pointers or even with code which I have already written.
